Detailed itinerary

1

Our expert driver will pick you up at your cruise ship in La Spezia and take you on a scenic drive through the picturesque hills of Tuscany to the charming town of Lucca. Once in Lucca, you will embark on a 120-minute self-guided tour and free time.
Exploring Lucca means delving into the birthplace of the renowned composer Giacomo Puccini, traversing the traces of time from the Roman period to the Middle Ages, and from the Renaissance to the nineteenth and modern centuries. Lucca, with its magical ambiance in every season, features the famous Walls adorned with trees and pedestrian areas within the city, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely walk or a bike ride.

2

Later, we will journey through the Tuscan countryside to a renowned winery-farm, where you'll uncover the secrets of wine production and indulge in a delightful lunch featuring 5 wine tastings. This farm is dedicated to promoting Italian wine and food culture globally, offering a splendid Italian experience to understand the perfect pairings of wine and food, unravel the secrets of Italian cuisine, explore Tuscan wine-making techniques, and more. The wine tasting and typical Tuscan lunch include: • Wine tasting • Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting • Pepper Olive Oil tasting • Balsamic Vinegar tasting • Truffle Olive Oil tasting

3

After lunch, we will proceed to Pisa for a self-guided visit (free time) to the "Miracles Square." Your tour continues with the exploration of the city of Pisa, providing ample time for you to admire and capture photographs of the renowned Leaning Tower, along with other significant monuments in the square, including the Baptistery and the Cathedral. The Leaning Tower, with its distinctive tilt, began leaning during its construction in the 12th century due to the soft ground unable to adequately support the structure's weight. The lean further progressed until the completion of construction in the 14th century.
After the visit to Pisa, the return is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
