Where you’ll have time to admire and photograph the famous Leaning Tower, and visit the other remarkable buildings that occupy of the field of miracles, which include the breath-taking Baptistery and splendid Cathedral. The cost to go up the tower is 20 euros and we recommend booking online. After visiting the square we will move to the historic center of the city for a visit to the main monuments.

After Pisa, we’ll continue through the rolling Tuscan hills, passing olive groves, vineyards, sunflower fields, and medieval towers, until we reach Volterra—a stunning hilltop town rich in history and charm.

Volterra, one of Tuscany’s most captivating cities, is built atop one of the Twelve Cities of the ancient Etruscan civilization. It still retains original gates from that era, and its archaeological museum showcases impressive Etruscan and Roman artifacts. Highlights include the beautifully preserved Roman Theater, the Baptistery with its striking Romanesque architecture, and the majestic Palazzo dei Priori, the oldest town hall in Tuscany, located in the main square.
