Detailed itinerary

1

Meet your tour guide in your Xiamen downtown hotel at your chosen departure time and aboard a comfortable private vehicle to Dazuo Village (about 100 minutes), which is located in Hui'an town, Fujian Province and is a beautiful fishing harbor rich in natural landscapes and cultural resources. It has been listed as one of the beautiful villages in Fujian. Dazuo is famous for the Hui'an women and their unique costumes.Once arrive, you will firstly follow your guide to explore Hui'an Women's Folk Customs Garden. It is the original birthplace and settlement of Hui'an women. Hui'an Women is a special ethnic group in Huidong Peninsula of Hui'an County. It is known as the virtue of "hardworking, simple, good and kind, hardworking and hardworking". They often wear a flower headband and a yellow bucket, the upper body is wearing tight and short clothes, while the lower body is wearing loose and fat pants, and the costumes are novel. Here, you can watch the sunrise and sunset on the sea, enjoy the scenery of the fishing village, and enjoy the simple folk customs of Hui'an women going to the sea, planting land, lifting stones, weaving nets, and experience the life of a fishing village. Next enjoy a authentic local lunch with the recommendation from your guide.

2

After lunch, your private driver will drive you to Chongwu Ancient Walled City which is located in southeast China’s Fujian Province and sandwiched between Meizhou Bay and Quanzhou Bay. Known as “a case of ancient systematic engineering”, it is the only extant one of the six dozens of stone forts built in the Ming Dynasty for the defense of the coastal areas in China, and its city wall is the only complete city wall made with granite in China. Entering the city and walking along the narrow streets built of stone slabs, you cannot fail to notice all the houses are only one or two floors high and the building material is mostly thick stone. Chongwu Ancient City will take you along its ancient zigzag streets back to a time when family temples, traditional marriage customs and veneration of past heroes and ancestors defined a lively happy life. Climbing to the top of the stone wall, you could see clusters of stone houses inside the wall and brick four-to-five story buildings outside the wall, a sharp contrast of old and new. Then head to Xisha Bay which is located on the Chongwu Seashore of Chongwu Village in Quanzhou. It has a long strand of gorgeous beach, and a temple dedicated to martyrs of the People’s Liberation Army. The beach offers entertainment facilities such as shooting ranges, beach volleyball, yachting, jet skiing, beer houses, leisure huts and food courts. Visitors can also enjoy unique local acrobatics performances. Afterwards, the driver will transfer you back to Xiamen and drop off at your hotel.
