Your private driver will pick you up in your hotel lobby at your chosen departure time and drive about 1.5 hours to Anxi. Located in the southeastern Fujian Province, Anxi is a small and mountainous county with a tea farming history dating back to the Tang Dynasty. It is well known for a number of varieties of Oolong tea, the best-known of which is Tieguanyin. Upon arrival, we will firstly visit Qingshui Rock which was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and was rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. There are many unique landscapes near the rock, for example, the inscriptions and cliff stone carving from Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. It is a scenic spot with Qingshui Rock Temple as the main body, with the culture of the ancestors of Qingshui as its characteristic, integrating religious pilgrimage, ecological tourism, folk display, leisure and vacation as one. Next enjoy a delightful local lunch with the recommendation from your guide.

Then head to the China Tea Capital, a trading complex located not far from downtown to seek how hot the tea market in Anxi is. The market opened in 2001 and is equipped with tea evaluation and consultation services. The market, claiming to be the largest of its kind in China, holds 1,800 storefronts and 3,000 or more stalls for individual sellers. Tea farmers from nearby villages pay a small rental fee and can sell their Tie Guan Yin directly to customers from all over China. The market also attracts big buyers from more than 60 other countries and regions in Asia, America and Europe. Afterwards, visit the Anxi Tea Grand View Garden, located in Fengguan Mountain on the north side of Fengcheng City, covering an area of 11 mu, consists of tea garden, tea workshop and phoenix garden. Specializing in scientific education and recreation, it serves as an encyclopedia of tea culture. Stepping into the breed garden, you can find the best tea trees of China. You can witness the whole process of Tieguanyin making world famous tea, and also can make a bubble of aromatic Tieguanyin on your own. Then transfer you back to Xiamen and drop off at your hotel.
