Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30am to visit majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountains first. It takes approximately 45 minutes of driving. The main peak of the mountain is measured at 17,000 feet above sea level mimicking a gigantic dragon clad in white snow all year round. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is consist of a small group of peaks close to the city of Lijiang. The nearest slope is only about 22 miles (35 kilometers) north of the Dayan Ancient City District, and the mountain can be clearly seen from the Black Dragon Pool next to the ancient district. You could take the Large Cable Car from Ganhaizi to the top of Jade Dragon Mountain to soak up the atmosphere. Then, you will visit Baisha Village, which is around 9 miles (15 kilometers) away from Lijiang City. Its characteristic aesthetic style and impressive historic details of the mural deeply attract travelers from other part of China as well as gloablly.
Later, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to sample authentic and delicious food. After lunch, continue to Black Dragon Pool in the afternoon. Black Dragon Pool Park is also known as Jade Spring Park, which is situated on the northern edge of Lijiang Old Town. There is a Black Dragon Pool in the park, hence the name. At the end, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel to conclude this tour at around 5pm.
