About this experience

Experience the Icelandic horse tradition on a small farm, located just 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Despite being so close to the city, you will feel like you are deep in the countryside when you arrive at the farm. There just a small number of horses here and tours are always operated just for you and your private group, so that they have an intimate, personal and authentic feel. We will take you on a horse riding tour to Lake Hafravatn, where you can admire the scenery while spending time with our friendly horses. This is an excellent tour for first time riders and experienced riders alike.

Full riding time is roughly two hours.

Important: Due to the comfort of the horses, unfortunately passengers weighing over 105kg will not be able to take part in the tour

The easiest way to get to our farm is to take bus no 15 from Reykjavík to us
If a rider is not following instructions, is not capable of riding or if guides feel insecure about taking a guest for a riding tour - the tour might be cancelled, with out refund.
Guest must be fit to mount and dismount the horse without stepping stool
Guest must weigh less than 105kg
Not recommended for those with allergy for horses, dogs or grass
