Experience riding an Icelandic horse and learn about the traditions around horsemanship in Iceland. Our little farm is located just 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavík - but still you feel like you are at the countryside when you arrive with us. We only have few horses and our riding centre is very small, that way we feel we can keep the atmosphere personal and authentic. This is a private tour, so it can be customized to your riding level.
Suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.
Full riding time is roughly one hour.
Pick up: Pick up in the capital area
No pick up: This tour option dose not include pick up. We encourage you to take the bus to us, it is very simple.
At arrival to our stable you will be met by one of our guides. As the tour is private it will only be you and your group along with the tour guide. Our tours start at the stable preparing you and the horse for the ride. Then we will head out, exploring the beautiful nature in our area.
Whether you are a novice or have some prior experience, our guides will tailor the tour to your individual needs. From mounting and dismounting to mastering the basic of riding gaits, you'll gain confidence in the saddle while building a solid understanding of proper riding techniques. Our riding tours are designed to not only enhance your riding abilities but also to provide a unique and immersive experience in nature, enjoying the scenic vistas of our area.
The total riding time varies a little bit depending on your riding level. You can expect the tour to take around 1 hour to 1,5 hours.

• Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are not capable of riding, cannot follow instructions, cannot mount their horses, how are disrespectful towards the horses or staff, intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
• In case the tour needs to be shortened or another route has to be taken due to weather, road conditions or to ensure the safety of guests this will be done with out the guest being entitled to a refund.
• Please remember that it is forbidden by law to bring used horse equipment into Iceland.
• Please ride in comfortable shoes, sneakers or walking shoes. No sandals.
