What you'll see

After getting picked up at your Punta Cana or Bavaro hotel by a friendly guide, head to the marina and meet up with a PADI-certified dive team in preparation for a 9:30am departure. Get an important safety briefing before heading out onto the tropical water for an unforgettable diving experience.

The first stop of the day will be on the east side of beautiful Catalina Island. After getting set up with your gear, journey below the surface to depths ranging from 5m (16 ft) to 40m+ (131 ft), depending on skill level. Dive experts will be on hand to assist, and lifejackets are provided for those who need them. Spend just under an hour in the water, looking out for vase sponges, sea fan coral, octopus, porcupine fish, scorpion fish, southern stingray, blue parrotfish, lion fish seahorses, moray eel and other sea life at an area known as ‘The Wall’.

Next, travel on to the second dive site, known to locals as the ‘Aquarium.’ This site, which has depths from 8m (26 feet) to 12m+ (39+ feet), offers incredible visibility and the opportunity to spot vase sponge, tube worm, spiny lobster, sand star, frogfish, trumpet fish, barracuda, mackerel, tiger moray eel and more. After spending time in the water observing sea life, return to the boat and travel to a private beach on Catalina Island. Enjoy swimming and sunbathing before sitting down to a freshly prepared Dominican feast, complete with fresh-caught fish (for VIP guests), pork, chicken, salads, pasta and local fruit. Sip on cocktails from the open bar and gaze out over the water as music plays softly in the background, or utilize the provided snorkeling equipment.

During the trip back to the marina there will be light refreshments at the bar and music prepared by the entertainment team. The boat will return to the marina at approximately 4pm, where a bus will be waiting to take you back to your Punta Cana or Bavaro hotel.
