About this experience

This walking tour is simple and very useful to do at the beginning of your trip in order to have a helpful orientation of the city.
This is an affordable short orientation tour to visit parts of the Medina, the old city of Marrakech, it is not a historical tour to visit monuments but your tour guide will show you some monuments on the way you may visit later.
Do please not have too big expectations in case you are willing to discover everything about this destination because it is what it is called, a short Orientation walking tour, but you will be able to see a lot in a short time.

Stop 1

Meeting point: In front of BARID CASH of the Post Office in Jamaa El Fna Square in front of the garden. There are 2 sides of the post.
I'll be waiting on the other side of the post office, not the main entrance but in front of the main entrance of Barid Cash at the other side in front of the garden.

DEPARTURES: At 10:30 AM, 14:30 PM and at 6 PM.
Tour description:
Tour lasts about 2 hours more or less.
Visit of the Koutoubia mosque, (12th century) from outside.
Then cross the famous Mellah quarters with its unique architecture.
Then head towards the famous Souks of Marrakech crossing one of the typical districts of the old city called Medina.
Your guide will help you wander in the colorful labyrinths of the main Souks and discover different handicraft specialties and hundreds of shops.
Walk along Musée de Marrakech, Medersa Ben Youssef, and the Kouba Almoravide before heading back to the big square Jama el Fna.
Highlights: Post office in Jamaa El Fna- Koutoubia mosque-Mellah-Riad Zitoun Jedid-Souks-Post office.
