About this experience

The most easily accessible and accessible mountain near the Japanese Alps, Norikura is one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains, stretching from Takayama to Nagano Prefecture.

Norikura is one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, stretching from the Alps to Nagano Prefecture. The highest peak is 3026m.
Hida Takayama is the largest “city” in Japan, and more than 90% of it is forested. 10% of the forested area is used for sightseeing, mainly the old township, which attracts 4.7 million visitors a year, and is concentrated in one area. This tour will introduce the diversity of Takayama City while also touching on the history and culture of the city.

Please dress for climbing and bring rain gear. We will check the physical condition and equipment of participants on the day of the tour and may cancel the tour if there are any problems. No refunds will be made in such cases.

If Norikura-dake cannot be climbed, we will suggest other mountains.
