Operated in Rovaniemi each year from December to beginning of April next year (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for the activity is 4 adults (December and January); 2 adults (since February). Single traveller could only join an existing group.
The person who will drive the snowmobile should hold a valid driving license. For those who don't have one, he/she could choose to sit behind friends or the guide (if it's possible, depends on the situation).
If there are two person per snowmobile, the driver and passenger could switch during the break of driving. For groups that have an odd number of participants, the single person will sit behind the guide, or share snowmobile with other single person in the same group (if it's possible). Or driving a solo snowmobile by purchasing the 'solo driving'.
Shared snowmobile means two person share one snowmobile, solo driving means one person drive one snowmobile. Please note that the price is always for per person, not for snowmobiles.
Snowmobile drivers are responsible for any damages caused to vehicles. Please refer to Sunny Safari indemnity clause for details.
Children under 140cm will sit in a sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Additionally, we highly recommend that at least one adult sits with young children for safety reasons. A child over 140cm needs to sit on the snowmobile as a passenger behind the driver/guide with an adult's price.
The duration of this activity includes transfer, clothes changing and driving & safety instruction time. Thermal overalls, winter boots, helmets and balaclava will be provided.
