DAY 2 : Cappadocia Red [North] Tour

Meal Plan : Breakfast at the hotel, Lunch at the tour

Description : Your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and you will start your Cappadocia Red [North] Tour. The first visit of today will be to the Goreme Open Air Museum where you can see the world’s most important Byzantine cave churches. Goreme Open Air Museum is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The next stop will be Pashabagi also called the Monks Valley because Christian hermits chose to locate hermit cells and churches in these three-headed pinnacles. Today’s last visit before lunch will be Devrent Valley, also known as "Imagination Valley", this is the most surreal-looking landscape. You will have lunch in Avanos in one of the cave restaurants. Avanos is the town of traditional pottery art, thus, you will visit one of the family work-shops in Avanos to have some information about the pottery and have a kick-wheel-pottery demonstration after lunch. You will end the day at Uchisar Castle, which is the highest point of Cappadocia and the view from the top is just brilliant. Overnight Cappadocia. (L)

DAY 3 : Cappadocia Green [South] Tour

Overnight : Cappadocia (4* or small boutique hotel)

Description : Picking up about from your hotel and your tour will start. The first stop is Goreme Panorama where you will have a complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. You will be also given the general information about Cappadocia at that first stop. Next you will drive to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the best preserved and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. Derinkuyu is 55 meters deep and has 8 levels open to visitors. After spending about 1 hour in Derinkuyu Underground City, you will drive to Ihlara Valley which is a 16 km long canyon and both sides are lined with rock carved churches. You will have a 3 km hike and visit one of the cave churches in Ihlara Valley. At the end of the walk, lunch will be served at Belisirma Village at a river by restaurant. After lunch you will visit Selime Monastery, carved out of the rock by Christian monks in the 13th century. The size of the church makes a visit here astonishing. The last stop of the day is a picture stop over the Pigeon Valley. Afterwards you drive back to your hotel (B - L)
