Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

(Optional: Pre-sunrise Cappadocia hot air balloon flight. Hotel pickup: 5.15am – Dropoff: 7.15am)

Green tour:

Pick-up from your hotel at 10:00 and setting off for the lengthy ride to Ihlara Valley. On the way, a visit to the biggest of all 36 discovered underground cities in the region; Derinkuyu Underground City.

Arrival at the Ihlara Valley; going down 382 steps into the canyon and stopping at the Belisirma Village after a 3.5km hike.

Relax by the river at Belisirma Village where lunch is served.

Following lunch continue on to the Selime Monastery. Visit this 13th century monastery carved out of the rock by Christian monks. Stop at Yaprakhisar Panorama for a great photo opporturnity of Selime Monastery featured in the ‘Star Wars’ films.

Returned to your hotel at the conclusion of the tour. (17.00pm)
