Detailed itinerary

1

Set off on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Bartolome Island, departing from Itabaca Canal. The scenic boat ride takes approximately two hours and brings you to one of the most iconic spots in the Galápagos, located northwest of Santa Cruz Island.

Famous for its dramatic views and the striking Pinnacle Rock, Barholome offers some of the most picturesque landscapes in the archipelago. A wooden boardwalk trail leads you to the summit of an extinct volcano (almost 400 wooden steps, please make sure to where comfortable shoes) — where panoramic views of lava fields, nearby islands, and the turquoise sea make the hike well worth the effort.
You will be rewarded with the most spectacular view of the Galapagos, the iconic postcard picture landscape that never gets boring, no matter how many times you come to visit this place.

2

After your hike, and after delicious and freshly prepared lunch on board, enjoy a guided snorkeling session at Sullivan Bay, located on neighboring Santiago Island (or near Bartolomé Beach) just a short ride away. Explore crystal-clear waters teeming with spectacular marine life — keep an eye out for Galápagos penguins, sea turtles, rays, white-tip reef sharks, and a variety of colorful fish swimming in the shallow reef as well as beautiful sea stars. As an alternative, you can also just snorkel a bit from the beach or relax on the beautiful white sand beach.
