Enjoy the great mountain hiking tour of the Cocora Valley known as the Hummingbird Circuit, an incredible natural route of approximately 12 kilometers in the middle of the native forests of fog in combination with the forest waterfall, the 7 suspension bridges, the estate in the mountain and the most beautiful landscapes of wax palms.
This tour starts from Salento by jeep, then arrives at the starting point in the Cocora Valley. Then you will start the tour through the palm forest, a wet and pine forest to the mountain estate. Place where you will have a view of Morrogacho Hill. After that you will descend to reach the Acaime reserve, where you will enjoy a snack and hummingbird sighting, and then continue with the tour in the fog forest and seven suspension bridges that will take you back to the Cocora Valley.
Important. It's a 12 km mountain hike. It's pertinent to have good physical condition.

Starting from Salento, the father municipality of Quindío, we will leave for the Cocora Valley in the jeep willys transport for approximately 20 to 25 minutes, accompanied by the local guide.
Starting from Salento Quindío to enjoy a walk to enjoy the natural landscapes of palms, humid forest and pine to the mountain farm which has a beautiful viewpoint of the Cocora Valley canyon and from which you can see the foot of the Morro Gacho hill , then we will descend about 1 kilometer and continue to the Acaime Reserve or house of the hummingbirds where we will rest a bit and have the snack included in the activity, Aguapanela with cheese or its derivatives. Then we will return through the cloud forest passing 7 suspension bridges, the waterfall of the cloud forest and the passage through the gate that reveals the mountains full of palms.
