Our guides will meet you at the starting point (Craft Cafe). We start our tour with a short taxi ride to Pionierspark - the previous settlement location.
We will drive past the Old Location which was the settlement for the segregrated population during Apartheid in Namibia. The people were then forced to relocate to the north of the City.
The tour continues to the new settlement which is known as Katutura (the place no one wants to live). We will drive through different parts of the township to experience the diversity in culture and development. We will visit a grassroot social project.
We finish our tour with a true authentic experience - a visit to the Oshetu Market in Single Quarters. You will get to experience local cuisine options and stroll through the streets of Katutura with our local guides.
You will recognize your guides by Anchor Adventures branded clothing and smiley faces.
