Panmen is a historical landmark in Suzhou. Originally built during the Spring and Autumn period in the state of Wu. Panmen Gate is known for its three landmarks “Ruiguang Pagoda”, the earliest pagoda in Suzhou built in 247; “Wu Gate Bridge”, the entrance to the gate at that time over the water passage and the highest bridge in Suzhou at the time; the unique water-and-land gate in China “Pan Gate”.

Suzhou City Planning Exhibition Hall and Xumen Gate
Suzhou City Planning Exhibition Hall has four functions: exhibition publicity, consultation and communication, publicity and education, and leisure travel. It serves as a window for Suzhou to expand its international influence, communicate with the world, and display Suzhou culture and city planning.

It is a private library of the famous family Gu in the south of the Yangtze River. And which is the place where the Garden of Pleasance owner collect cultural relics, paintings and antiques. After six generations of 150 years of inheritance, the collection contains more than 800 kinds of books, including the Song and Yuan dynasties, ancient transcripts, Ming and Qing dynasties, and inscriptions.

Also called the Garden of Pleasance or Yi Garden, which is located in the downtown area and is the most recently built Suzhou gardens. It has been described as one of the most representative Suzhou gardens, comprising a garden, a lotus pond, residences, artificial villages and ancestral halls. Because the garden incorporates all the elements of the various Suzhou gardens, it is sometimes regarded as an agglomeration of Suzhou's garden culture.
