Stay 5 minute walk from the lake of Hoankiem. Here is the french opera house the symbol for the french entertainment and heritage in Hanoi. Nearby, we can stop at Hanoi Stock exchange, outside Hanoi Sofitel Metropole (the first five star hotel built in 1901)..

The old attractive bridge built by the french people in Hanoi (1899-1902) across the Red river. Learn more the French control period before 1954 and the US bombing campaign over North Vietnam, which caused damage to bridges and to people and infrastructure. Tran Quoc - "Defending pagoda" is a sacred Buddhist site, located on the pearl island of Tay Ho. The pagoda has a history of nearly 1500 years and is considered the oldest in Thang Long - Hanoi. Under the Ly and Tran dynasties, Tran Quoc Pagoda was the Buddhist center of Thang Long citadel.

The Flag Tower of Hanoi is a tower in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is one of the symbols of the city and once a part of the Hanoi Citadel, a World Heritage Site. Its height is 33.4 m (41 m with the flag).
The tower is considered to have been built in 1805 or 1812 during the Nguyen dynasty as an observation post to the Hanoi Citadel. Unlike many other structures in Hanoi, it was not destroyed during the French invasion (1896-1897), and was continuously used as a military post. It is now located in the Vietnam Military History Museum.

English name: Spring field Market is a market in the central district Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội, Việt Nam. Originally built by the French administration in 1889, Đồng Xuân Market has been renovated several times with the latest in 1994 after a fire which almost destroyed the market. Nowadays, Đồng Xuân Market is the largest covered market of Hanoi where the business people sell their products by two ways: wholesale and retail. For the wholesale, you just can buy something in the big pack, for the retail, you can buy everything you need in the shops here (the traders sell everything from clothes, household goods to foodstuff).

Phung Hung Mural Street, a symbol of Hanoi's culture. This is an art project to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnam - Korea diplomatic relations. Artists from both countries participated and created over 20 murals depicting some of Hanoi's cultural features over a century.
