Detailed itinerary

1

Another essential place in your visit to Easter Island, the Ahu Vinapu has an extraordinary finish. It is here that the theories of the Amerindian settlement were, wrongly, reinforced. To appreciate the work of the stone.

2

One of the most beautiful panoramas in Rapa Nui. The large crater of the extinct volcano and its indentation on the vastness of the South Pacific reminds us of the geographic isolation of Easter Island.

3
Stop 3

Tangata Manu, the cult of the Bird Man. The ceremonial village of Orongo, repeatedly restored, was built on the side of a cliff, facing the islets that shelter the seabirds that come to lay eggs there during the southern spring. The quest for the first egg designated the religious authority of the year.

4

It is a small cave hidden in the calenders of Easter Island. The mineral cavity houses the remains of cave paintings associated with seabirds.

5

Restored archaeological site consisting of a single platform with also a single Moai, unique in its kind: it has 4 hands. Much more than this simple singularity, the altar is, there too, oriented astronomically.
