Be a part of a unique experience as you venture through Penang’s Georgetown Heritage Area where we feed your hunger for food & knowledge. A local Penang-born tour guide takes you bite-by-bite through each step of this food trail. You sip delicious local drinks and munch on traditional dishes which our ancestors have kept alive. During this tour, we unveil Penang and Malaysia's history and finally end our food trail at a bar with a locally inspired cocktail or mocktail.

Stop 1 Pass by

We meet at the Kapitan Keling Mosque which is located close to some of the best Malay food in town. You'll learn more about the Malay community and how its dishes have mixed with other cultures.

Stop 2

Many of the local traditions and cultures originate from the religions and beliefs settlers brought with them. The Goddess of Mercy temple is one such example. We'll visit this temple and take a step back in time.

We'll pass by Chinese Clan houses and learn how Chinese traders settled in Penang and influenced the local culture and food.

Stop 4

We will end the tour with a delicious and locally inspired cocktail.
