Make the most of your time in Helsinki with this unique experience. Relax your mind with a walk in Sipoonkorpi national park and release stress with the steam of a traditional smoke sauna. The most Finnish activity day ever!

During this experience, you will get to discover the beauty of Sipoonkorpi national park with a professional wilderness guide. The guide will lead you through forested trails stopping along the way to learn about Finnish wildlife and nature. Our trail leads us to a rocky vista overlooking a freshwater lake where we will have a campfire barbecue. (Dietary needs? Let us know!)

After a delicious lunch, we will continue our walk to the smoke sauna (A total of 6km). Time to relax, go for a swim, and enjoy a traditional Finnish smoke sauna.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Meeting point is front of Kiasma museum, address: Mannerheiminaukio 1H (searchable on google maps).
It is 500 meters from Helsinki Central Railway station.
Kindly be on time at the meeting point.

This excursion takes place 30 minutes outside of Helsinki. Your guide will pick you up and drive you into the wonderful forests of Finland. The walk is easy-going yet it has a couple of hills and steep steps to the lunch location.

You will spend 3.5 hours in the national park including a 1 hour lunch break in the middle. This is a great time to enjoy the magical scenery of the national park and explore the nearby lake and forest. After the lunch you will hike back and get ready for the sauna. (The total walking distance is 6km.)

The sauna part will last around one hour. This will give you enough time to have multiple breaks to swim, cool down, and sweat! After the sauna, you can take a shower and change into fresh clothing for the ride back to Helsinki.

Your guide will drop you off refreshed and recharged at the original pick-up point at 5:00-5:30 P.M.
