Detailed itinerary

1

Buzios main tourist spot, Praia da Armação is one of the busiest places in the city. Praia da Armação is a Buzian icon, especially due to the presence of the sculpture of the French actress Brigitte Bardot, who so in love with the city, promoted Buzios in his travels around the world. In addition to it, are also represented in sculptures President Juscelino Kubitschek and local fishermen, these with a beautiful sculpture in the sea.

Armação Beach is home to Orla Bardot, a seaside promenade surrounded by greenery, flowers and many stools to relax and enjoy the view. It is a delightful evening stroll, especially for having a beautiful sunset. The beach is crowded with boats, which helps form a beautiful backdrop for photos.

In addition to its natural beauty, Praia da Armação is also home to Rua das Pedras, the main point of shopping and local cuisine. Along the beach, there are dozens of options for a delicious meal, as well as many small shops to spend some money.

2

Filled with fishing boats, tree-lined waterfront and charming renovated fisherman's houses, the beach looks like a postcard. On the upper left side is the Sant'Ana church, with a beautiful view; and the Yacht Club of Buzios. On the other side goes the path that leads to Azeda beach.

Perfect for taking pictures, walking and taking the little ones, it has makeshift canoes on the sand that guarantee cold drinks.

3

Azeda and Azedinha beaches are two beautiful beaches in the city of Armação dos Buzios. They are small, beautiful and very cozy, being a great option to spend the day. They are among the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and have become an Environmental Protection Area. The beaches are named for their lime green waters.

4

Azedinha Beach is even smaller than Azeda Beach, but preferred by many tourists in the city of Buzios. The beach has clear and calm waters, without waves. A large rock with a hole in the middle forms a large natural pool, great for relaxing.

5

This is the most international beach of Buzios, where we can find tourists from all over the world. Perhaps the reason for so many tourists here is the large amount of good hotels around. Relatively small beach of calm, clean and warm sea excellent for children. Its waters are bluish with many goldfish, its sand in some parts are pink in others are very white this color, there are some rock formations in the area, but nothing that bothers much or is not surpassable. At high tide the sand space is greatly reduced. Every beach offers an excellent structure of bars and restaurants. For leisure we have several options such as pedal boats, kayaks, diving, boating, banana boat, skiing, the fun here is guaranteed. Although the bars offer shade and chairs there are several trees around the shady beach.

6

Small - one hundred meters long - and quiet, the beach of calm and clear waters is accessible by the right corner of João Fernandes beach by the rocks or by a trail with steps down the hill.
The attractions are due to the cliffs covered by native vegetation that surround it, sought after for snorkeling and spearfishing.
Rustic kiosks offer cold drinks and chairs, while leafy almond trees provide shade.

7

This islet faces Orla Bardot, near the city's main pier and is surrounded by pirate stories as many are said to have made the same hiding place. It is currently used for casual walks, besides having a trail and some curiosities.

8

Its sea is dotted with various boats of all sizes, after all there is a fishing colony and some nautical clubs. A large and not very populated beach has some summer houses, a few hotels and a restaurant.

9

Formed by two portions of sand separated by a beautiful stone path, Praia da Tartaruga combines beauty with good infrastructure. The beach can keep the rustic air, with wooden kiosks and typical seafood menus. The place is great for family. There are various beach activities available such as snorkeling, kayaking and SUP. All in a beautiful colorful sea and very calm.
Tartaruga Beach differs from others located in the Center of Buzios by not having houses or hotels obstructing the landscape to nature. The kiosks, in the mold of the past, integrate with the scenery and give the beach a unique feature in the region. The beach has 1 km of sand strip. Kids have fun walking the rocks and seeing the fish. The place is quite safe, so great for a little adventure.
On weekends, Turtle Beach is absolutely crowded. You will see little of the sand. On the way up to the restaurants you can see only colorful umbrellas and chairs with tourists eager for sunshine and fresh water. Those who stay until the end of the day can still see a beautiful sunset in the sea of Buzios. Specialty of Turtle Beach!

10

It is a small, deserted beach that still retains its native vegetation. It is accessible only on foot at low tide, through narrow trails that start from Praia do Canto or through Tartaruga beach. It has beautiful stretches of sand. Really worth a visit, especially for those who like a unique landscape.

11

One of the most hidden beaches in Buzios, Praia dos Amores is the right destination for those who want peace, tranquility and exclusivity. Hard access - from a stone trail on Praia do Canto - helps keep the place almost deserted.
Praia dos Amores is located in the middle of a large rock wall with native vegetation. The beach is surrounded by rock formations that lead to the presence of some tiny beaches, where only a couple would fit. An invitation to romantic scenes. The sandy strip of the beach is short and the sea rough, but the scenery is really wonderful.

12

Continued from Armação Beach, Praia do Canto is the most appropriate place for swimming in this strip of sand. Located in the left corner of the beach, near the rocky wall, Praia do Canto is a great choice for those who do not want to get away from the center, but want a beautiful transparent and calm sea.
The formation of the beach makes it look like a pool, and in fact there are small pools between the rocks that invite you to relax. The beach is quite empty, even being so close to the center. It is a beautiful setting for late afternoon. From Praia do Canto beach, you can reach Praia dos Amores. The path is covered by the rocks by the sea.

13

Buzios main tourist spot after the beaches, Rua das Pedras attracts a crowd of tourists. The place is full of good shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, tourist agencies and hotels. It is almost mandatory point among the visitors. Although Rua das Pedras is only 600 meters for pedestrians, in practice it goes far beyond this short stretch. The street encompasses several blocks around which follow the same elegant and charming weather. These blocks together act as a large entertainment area. A real open-air mall with beautiful people, great music and lots of fun options.
Among the main shopping options you can find from spaces with pieces of local designers and artists to big international names. There are brands like Farm, Osklen, Hawaiian, Cavalera, Sandpiper, Chilli Beans, Wollner, Sandbar, Bum Bum, Pier, Taco, Lacoste, Canton and Salina. Great for some shopping. Restaurants range from hamburgers and crepes to elaborate seafood. The good variety is also reflected in the hotels, with cheap hostels and refined boutique boutiques. For those who like the night, Rua das Pedras is also ideal, with several bars and clubs.
Following the shores of Praia da Armação Beach, Rua das Pedras is the starting point for boats and schooners that go for walks along the beaches of Buzios. The street is linked to Orla Bardot, which forms one of the most delicious walks in the city.
