Detailed itinerary

1

Kanoni, the church of Panagia Vlacherna and the Mouse Island in Corfu: The location of Kanoni with the church of Panagia Vlacherna below and the Mouse Island (Pontikonissi) are the most famous and photographed spots of Corfu. Kanoni is actually a quarter of Corfu Town, just a couple of km from the city center. It took its name from an old cannon that stands on top of the hill. This hill is lush green and has many luxurious hotels and local residences.

2

Paleokastritsa is on the west coast of Corfu that boasts an overwhelmingly beautiful landscape with rough coastline and lots of vegetation. From Palaiokastritsa we can take a boat in order to explore the central west coast that is full of rock formations and small caves. Due to the small size of the boat we can go inside the caves. One of them is Nafsika’s Cave, which was named after princess Nafsika that is said to have saved Odysseus. An incredible experience of transparent turquoise water awaits you. Up on the hill of Palaiokastritsa there is also the monastery of Panagia Theotokos with a fabulous view and small museum within its walls.

3

After this, relax in the privacy and comfort of your mini bus. Our driver will drive you to the old Corfu town centre where you will be able to visit the old Fortress of Corfu, do some shopping in the venetian style Corfu Town shops, have a coffee in the famous Liston and receive the blessings from the patron saint of Corfu when visiting the central Saint Spyridon Church. Just before your cruise ship sets sail, you will be dropped off outside the main entrance of the Port, exactly where your Corfu tour started and before experiencing the unique beauty of Corfu island.
