About this experience

Come along with us to discover the closed city from Punta Cana! Higüey city, Head city of La Altagracia Province. The tour starts by taking an AC van from your hotel to go to the countryside, to visit a traditional countryside house, where you will have the opportunity of seeing the coffee and cocoa plantations, as well as the process to prepare them. Degustation of some exotic tropical fruits, coffee, chocolate and produced right there. You can also buy some organic products from them. Just after that our expert tour guide will take you to Higüey City, to know its history and culture. Once there, you will visit the San Dionisio church, with over 500 years old, built in the 1512. We will also visit The Basilica of La Altagracia church, built in the 1950 s, visited by people from all over the world.
