Mount Gemi is the second tallest mountains in Ghana. First being the Afadjato mountain in the same Region.
As the nearby town of Amedzofe in the Volta Region of Ghana is already very high in altitude, the peak of the mountain is actually a short climb from town, approximately 15 minutes only to get to the top. At the very peak of the mountain is a tall cross made of iron erected by German missionaries in 1939
We will also challenge ourselves to the canopy walk to have even a better view of nature and a cool down of the water falls
We will stop at one of the hilltop Restaurants for some delicious lunch and refreshment with the best view just to chill and head off to the monkey sanctuary later to see probably the words friendliest monkeys
A visit to the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary where will will be given a walking guided tour through the forest and community to find the Mona monkey.
