The average time for this tour is on average about 4 hours drive each way. However, depending on both city and highway traffic the travel hours could more or less. If You you do have an extra day in your itinerary, we advise you book our overnight pack that will allow you to spend a lot of time with the beauty of the Volta Region and even take a hike to the mount Afadjato which is the highest in Ghana.
For those who fancy a swim should remember to pack their towels and swim stuff.

An early 6:00 am departure from Accra will take you on a super exciting trip through the beautiful changing landscape of Ghana and across the Adomi Bridge to the Volta Region
Our first stop will be the monkey village and our first activity will be to look for bananas, then we look for monkeys - ironically very easy to find once you have bananas!
Shai hills is the closest National game park reserve in Accra where we may see some baboons as we drive along.We can stop by for some photo taking opportunity and continue our trip back to Accra
About 4 hour drive through the beautiful countryside and we’ll cross Lake Volta on the beautiful Adome Bridge. You will have the pleasure to visit the biggest and highest waterfalls in Ghana as well as the bats ecology in the region.
