Are you coming from Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi or Naples? It's not a problem, we start this experience from Marina Grande - Port of Capri. On board a private minibus we reach Anacapri along a panoramic Mammamia road overlooking the sea. Once you reach the center, you can choose whether to board the Monte Solaro chairlift to admire the island from the highest point. You can choose to visit Villa San Michele with its panoramic terraces or, to keep you company, there will be the typical shops of the island! Next stop, we reach the center of the island, Capri center - the Piazzetta Umberto I and the Gardens of Augustus with an incredible view overlooking the Faraglioni! Descent towards the Port of Marina Grande in M.bus ready to board a typical local boat for a 1 hour boat ride stopping in all the caves (Bianca, Corallo, Verde, Arco Naturale, Marina Piccola, Piccola Grotta Azzurra and Grotta Meravigliosa) and crossing the Faraglioni.
We will reach by bus the first village of the island, Anacapri. We will stop in Anacapri for about 2 hours, useful and necessary time to visit it entirely.
During the time you will have available in Anacapri, you can choose to use the chairlift to reach the highest point of the island - 589 meters above sea level, Monte Solaro, to admire the most beautiful panorama of the island. Here the gaze has no boundaries: below the whole island of Capri, in front of the Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples and the Sorrento Peninsula, in the distance the mountains of Calabria, the Apennines and the Amalfi Coast with the islets of the Gauls.
During the time you will have available in Anacapri, you can decide to visit the Villa San Michele. In the Villa San Michele are preserved archaeological finds recovered by Munthe in Capri, Anacapri and elsewhere, sometimes donated by friends. We find fragments of sarcophagi, busts, Roman floors, marbles and columns. In the garden there is a Greek tomb and a granite sphinx dominates the whole island of Capri from the belvedere.
During the time you will have available in Anacapri, you can choose to walk in the medieval historic center until you reach the Historic Church of San Michele with its famous majolica floor, one of the finest examples of all eighteenth-century Neapolitan production.
We will reach by bus the second village of the island, Capri. We will stop in Capri for a fascinating walk up to the well-known Piazzetta Umberto I, for everyone it is the center of the island, the living room of the world and on summer evenings here you can rub elbows with monarchs, Hollywood actors and ordinary people.
During the time you will have available in Capri, stop at Piazzetta of Capri, the very symbol of the island. Famous throughout the world, it is the hub of tourist and social life, the place where famous actors and ordinary people, rulers of northern Europe and VIPs, aristocrats and Hollywood stars meet at coffee or aperitif time. Impossible not to sit at one of the many bars that crowd it with their wicker tables: exchanging a chat over a cocktail you will feel at the center of the world!
During the time you will have available in Capri, on foot, just 12 minutes away, we reach the Gardens of Augustus consisting of a series of flowered terraces overlooking the Faraglioni of Capri on one side, the Bay of Marina Piccola and the hairpin bends of Via Krupp on the other.
