Day 1: Dubai – Desert Driving - Desert Camp (D)
Begin your 1- or 2-night trip with a hotel pickup and collect your air-conditioned Jeep. Get a safety briefing, driving instructions and a walkie-talkie, and drive your 4x4 along the tarmac roads into the desert.
After deflating your tires for off-road driving, leave the tarmac and cross the undulating sands to Pink Rock dune. Learn the desert-driving essentials here, swapping driving with your passengers as you wish. Watch for camels and desert wildlife, and make photo stops on route to Big Red, a beautiful area of high dunes.
Have fun negotiating the sands, and then thrill as you tackle the higher, rock-crowned Fossil Rock before driving through more dunes to a desert campsite.
Set up your tent, and enjoy a barbecue dinner under the stars as you chat over your exploits.
Overnight: Desert Camp
Day 2: Desert Camp – Dubai (B), or Liwa (B, L, D)After an early campfire breakfast, pack up camp. Then, if you’ve chosen the 1-night tour, enjoying an exhilarating morning dune bash before ending your tour in Dubai.
For the 2-night tour, follow breakfast with a 4-hour drive to Liwa, a remote region in the Rub al Khali or 'Empty Quarter' that’s home to the Arabian Peninsula’s highest dunes.
After a buffet lunch at a hotel, take an exhilarating dune drive. Master more advanced maneuvers and feel your adrenaline race as you slip and spin around the slopes.
Make camp in Liwa and enjoy a barbecue dinner under a spectacular canopy of stars before settling in your tent.
Overnight: Desert Camp in Liwa
Day 3: Liwa – Dubai (B)After breakfast, leave camp and drive back to Dubai, where your tour ends around noon.
