We shall pick you up from the airport or from your hotel.

We recommend either little or no breakfast. After that we will take you to the busy streets of Old Delhi.Old Delhi was founded by Mughal emperor Shahjahan, in 1639 and till date its essence of Mughal Empire can be found on its streets. Our first stop would be chawri bazaar. Located in the heart of Old Delhi, this place is known for its street food and the variety found in Indian cuisine. Our food Tour will start with variety ranging from samosa, kachori,chaat,dosa,dahibhalla to Badaam milk, Lassi or buttermilk. These offers typical Indian taste, although not at all hot spicy. Samosa is originally from Somalia, but since 11th Century it became part of India. Samosa is stuffed with fried potatoes and covered with wheat powder. Lassi is a healthy drink and it comes with different flavour.

Stop 3

Delhi food walks have more to offer, as next stop will be at Parathe wali gali.Here hot parathas (stuffed deep fried Indian bread) are served with mint and coriander salsa, tamarind paste and other dips. We shall then exit the lanes and take a left to find Fatehpuri masjid, an old Delhi heritage- a Mughal architecture build by begum fatehpuri (one of the wife to Emperor Shah Jahan). And for you we have chaina ram’s Karachi halwa, a pre Independence shop. Here our Old Delhi Food guide will introduce mouth-watering delicacies. This food culture in Old Delhi developed gradually. Moreover, one cannot miss the biggest spice market which is located nearby and better known as Khari Baoli.

Learn about Indian spices at Local spice Bazar where you can also get authentic and aromatic spices. We shall then proceed towards for lunch and halt at Kareem’s- a historic restaurant is known for serving generations. A must stopwill be here for meat eaters, from various curries to roasted chicken/mutton to flavoured rice, this place has it all. After a sumptuous lunch, we shall make you drink Indian milk tea served with lots of love and a thick layer of freshly brewed cream.
