The vivacious NurJahan, Emperor Jehangir's wife built and designed ImtadUdDaula; pillar of the empire, in the memory of her father Ghias Beg in 1622 AD. This beautiful mausoleum is also called '' jewel box". Later we visit TajMahal.

The dying empress MumtazMahal made emperor Shahjahan to build a tomb to remind the generations to come of their eternal love story. The leading architect was Mir Abad Al karim and Makramat khan. It took sixteen years to build the main building and another five to complete the gardens and courtyard. It is the epitome of Mughal architecture. It is an architectural synthesis of Hindu and Islamic building traditions.
