Start your day in our central meeting point in Barcelona. Travel with a small group in a comfortable vehicle to medieval gem of Girona (1h30 journey). Head to El Cull de la Lleona to inmerse into catalan culture with an explanation of the local legend of the Lioness' bottom.
We will explain the church history from exterior and see its façade. This building is a landmark because it was the first Girona church (documented since first century). Moreover, the church is home of eight Roman and early Christian sarcophagi (third and forth century).
You will stroll over to the the second widest gothic cathedral in the world, the Cathedral of Girona, founded in 1038. This monument has a long history spanning one thousand years. We will explain its history and analize important elements of the façade.
You will cross one of the gems of Girona, the Eiffel Bridge. Designed by Gustave Eiffel and characterized by its red metal stringers.
Pass over the beautiful and most important promenade of Girona, situated alongside the river and filled with trees and cozy cafés.
After an 1h journey. You will go through a walking tour in this Middle Ages charming village. We will roam around its idyllic cobbled streets and tiny squares. Then, you will observe the most beautiful landscape from the top of the hill next to the Tower of the Hours.
