Sighnaghi – The city of love. We’ll take a walk through this beautiful 18th century city to explore it’s cozy narrow streets and vivid architecture.

This city is known for the “Great wall of Georgia” – a fortress almost 5 km long!

Here we’ll stop at a famous BIO winery – Okro Wines, where we’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Alazani valley with the best of their organic wines.

Khareba Winery is one of the most well-known premium wine producers in Georgia. They are famous with quality wine as well as the Tunnel – Originally built for military purposes, a cave goes couple hundred meters under the mountain where the wine storage and wine-tastings take place.

We will explore the tunnel, as well as taste 4 of the Premium wines produced with both Georgian & European methods.

Khareba Winery also boasts a very nice restaurant, where we can optionally stop for lunch or quick snacks.

Chavchavadze family used to be one of the most noble royal families in Georgia. We will visit their summer residence in Tsinandali, where the first ever Georgian wines were produced with the European methods. This was all thanks to Aleksandre Chavchavadze – the head of the family. He also played a big role of preserving the information about the ancient practices of wine production in Georgia.

We’ll have a tour around the house and hear the stories of the family, after which we will enjoy a glass of a local vintage – Tsinandali and a walk through the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace.

Shumi Winery is also one of the biggest names in the Georgian Premium wines. They produce a big variety of high quality alcohol drinks. We’ll have a tour around the factory as well as try best of their premium wines.

After the wine tasting we will enjoy walking through their famous collection vineyard, where hundreds of endemic species of Grapes are grown.

After all the delicious and unique wines, we will finely had back to Tbilisi through the Gombori Mountains, we will have a short stop at the peak of the pass to enjoy the breathtaking views of the panorama.

At this point there is also an option to enjoy herbal tea or coffee at a very cute hut on top of the mountain.
