Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Our first stop for the day is at Mossman Gorge, the base of the Daintree National Park for a guided interpretive walk with your guide, capturing the best time of day for the perfect photo opportunity and the possibility of spotting a Boyd's Forest Dragon or a platypus.

Our next stop is the Daintree River via the Mossman Township where sugar cane and the sugar mill features in the landscape. Arriving at the Daintree River we take a Wildlife Cruise. Here you can sit back, soak up the tranquility and natural beauty, listen to the songbirds and seek the elusive Estuarine Crocodile.

Stop 3

Leaving the Daintree River we drive north through the scenic Daintree National Park stopping at Alexandra Lookout for sweeping views extending from The mouth of the Daintree River and out to the Coral Sea and Great Barrier Reef. Morning tea is served with fresh muffins, biscuits, plunged coffee and Daintree Tea.

Next, we explore legendary Cape Tribulation beach.
Guests can wander this remote white coral sand beach where two world heritage National Parks famously meet.

We enjoy lunch at a beautiful rainforest restaurant where our meals are all individually prepared and served, followed by a tropical fruit platter.
After lunch, you can enjoy a swim in the refreshing crystal-clear waters of our private rainforest creek (subject to weather and water safety conditions).

Our next stop is Noah Valley World Heritage Listed private property, where we follow lunch with an interpretive guided walk as a small group with your experienced guide and stop to view The Gateway to Paradise which showcases one of the rarest and most primitive of the flowering plants in existence.
The interpretive walk may be taken before or after lunch depending on conditions and departure times.

Our last stop of the day is at the Daintree Ice Cream Company. A highly recommended optional extra, you can sample ice cream made from exotic tropical fruits grown in right here in the orchard.

Daintree River Cable Ferry Crossing for our journey home. Sit back and relax in the vehicle while your guide returns you to your accommodation after a full day touring the Daintree National Park.
