About this experience

Initially, this is the Red Tour itinerary for the day that you do the balloon flight to make your day more enjoyable. It's scheduled to provide you some hours to rest after the balloon flight early in the morning.

This is the most praticle to see the must-see sites of central Cappadocia such as the sites of fairy chimneys, Göreme Open Air Museum. On the other hand,if this is the day of your departure, tour ends at 18:00 pm and you'll be nearby the pick-ups of airport shuttles.

Stop 1

Göreme Open Air Museum is where you'll see a cave monastery complex of 3 main churches, 4 chapels and the other caves as storages, dining halls, grave chapels etc. You would see the well-preserved cave churches with beautiful frescoes.

Stop 2

Paşabağları or Monks' Valley is where you'll see a site multi-topped fairy chimneys and a cave hermitage of St Simeon's followers. Besides, this is the best place in Cappadocia where to see the chapters of erosion.

Stop 3

Dervent Valley is another site of formations of Cappadocia but these are the ones of different sizes and forms. That's why it's called imagination valley, too. One of the symbols of Cappadocia, Camel-shaped formation can be seen here.

Stop 4

As the biggest formation of Cappadocia, Uçhisar has been always the eye of central Cappadocia. It's been used by any state as a watch tower or a small castle. The size and the location of it were the advantage of this formation. We stop to see how big it is and to talk about the formation of Cappadocia.

Stop 5

Avanos is the town of Cappadocia where the Red River passes. It's been the place of pottery in time. We stop in one of the pottery workshops of town to see how they work and design of these pots of different ages. It's possible to buy some pots, too.
