The excursion we propose takes place on the southern side of the volcano and will allow you to reach the Central Crater of Etna, at an altitude of about 3345 meters above sea level, in a unique landscape, almost lunar. The start will be from 1900 meters above sea level, by cable car, followed by a 4x4 jeep excursion to the permitted point, from where we will continue on foot for 5km round trip, accompanied by the guide, to the maximum point of visit, the central crater. Here you will have the feeling of walking on a live and pulsating volcano, surrounded by fumes, gases and the intense yellow color of sulfur. From the crater you will have a breathtaking view of the Ionian coast and the various villages that lie at the foot of this majestic mountain. The itinerary also includes a visit to ancient eruptive cones and vast lava fields. Return to the starting point by 4x4 jeep and cable car.
