About this experience

The original Paragliding experience over Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Operated by a WXC World Champion, National Champion, National team member and multi Record holder and his team of friendly, safe and fully certified instructors.

The unique experience of flying a Paraglider, launching of the Tijuca Forest National Park, surrounded by tropical Atlantic Forest, unique views of the Atlantic ocean and many landmarks of Rio such as Rocinha, Vidigal, Pedra da Gavea, Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer and more, finishing with a smooth landing on the white sands of beautiful São Conrado beach.

For safety reasons and aircraft capacity persons of or above 120kg/260lb can't be accepted for Hang Gliding, but paragliding might still be an alternative. On certain days, depending on wind and weather or mobility restrictions, even persons slightly below mentioned weight might be redirected to Paragliding for their own safety.
Pictures and videos are usually downloaded to your phone so please make sure to have at least 3GB available for the standard imagery and another 7GB if you're planning on taking the 360° camera option.
Hotel transfers aren't included but can be arranged, cost varies by location, please contact us after booking if you would like to request the service.
If you plan taking the 360° camera option, it's recommended to install the "insta 360" app from the App store/Play Store before you come, this will help expediting imagery transfer times after your flight.
A maximum of 8 people per booking
Minimum age to participate is 14, minors need to be accompanied by legal guardian and photo ID's of both need to be presented

We pick up for free in the São Conrado neighbohood in front of the Hortifrutti Grocery store, please contact us before heading over to confirm wind conditions.

• It's very easy to come to us, the easiest is to take an UBER to Estrada do Joa 136 and we will come pick you up there right in front of the Hortifrutti Grocery store.

• The listed price does not include approximate $15.00 per person usage and insurance fee, at the time of tour check-in. This is required by the local Hang Gliding Club and is not within our control.
• Minimum age is 16 years, under 18 must be accompanied by legal guardian.
• Consider about 2-hours from pick up to drop off from meeting point or 4h if hotel transfers are used, these times can vary depending on traffic and weather factors.
• Your picture and video files can be copied to your phone or burned to a DVD. If you rather have it copied to your own data storage device, please, feel free to bring your own device such as, memory cards, USB flash or Hard Drives at your convenience.
