Welcome! Your personal, English-speaking guide will be waiting to meet you at your arrival port! Once we’ve exchanged greetings, we will drive in our private, air-conditioned van along the scenic Da Nang beach for an incredibly picturesque drive.
You will have plenty of time to capture your Kodak moment as we arrive at one of Vietnam’s most picturesque beaches! My Khe Beach is a 20-mile stretch of white sandy coastline and crystal water.
Our next stop is to Marble Mountain, five limestone mountains said to represent the five elements: Thuy Son (Water), Moc Son (Wood), Hoa Son (Fire), Kim Son (Metal or Gold), and Tho Son (Earth). 156 stone stairs lead to a Buddhist temple at the summit of Thuy Son. Here is the perfect stop for taking pictures of these impressive natural wonders.
Once we’ve taken the perfect snaps, we’ll make our way back to Hoi An, a 17th-century town lingering in the 21st Century. A walking tour around the Old Quarter will take us past historic buildings and down tranquil streets. We have a lot of history to squeeze in at Hoi An, including Chinese assembly halls, family chapels, museums, and of course the beautiful 18th century Japanese covered Bridge. Get ready for an afternoon full of culture, history, amazing architecture, and countless photo opportunities.
Sample local specialities at lunch such as White Rose, Fried Wonton, Cao Lau Noodle, and Vietnamese Baguette. Have a break or finish the walking tour at Reaching Out Tea House to have some coffee or tea and support the staff who have hearing and speech impediments.
Finally, spend some time exploring the town and shopping to your heart’s content in this consumer paradise!
If timing allows, we will drive into the heart of Da Nang City and over Dragon Bridge where you can view other beautiful bridges over the Han River. Then, your guide will get you back in plenty of time for your cruise ship!
