Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

From the port (or your selected point) we drive to the Mandraki Old Harbor where according to the tradition, the Colossus of Rhodes once stood - One of the seven wonders of the ancient world. At the entrance of the old harbor, atop tall columns, stand the two bronze deer - characteristic landmarks of the island. We can help with your pictures with background the deer, one of the many significant landmarks of Rhodes

2

Close to the entrance of the Old Port is the Church of the Annunciation that houses amazing gothic wall paintings by Fotis Kontoglou and impressive chandeliers. Today it is the town’s cathedral

3
Stop 3

We drive to Monte Smith Hill (Acropolis of Rhodes Town) on the way you see the North Point of the Island where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet.
Once we reach the Acropolis (with the car no climb) we stop at a vantage point for a 360 Panoramic View of Rhodes Town and both East and West Coast - Scenic.
We continue for photos from a distance of the Temple of Apollo, and the Ancient Stadium.

(On the way to Lindos, you can choose an optional short stop at a pottery workshop where the traditional pottery of Rhodes is made. You can see the wonderful pieces of art, and watch the potter working at his wheel. You can even learn the mystery of the Pythagorean cup!)

4
Stop 4

After finishing with the Highlights of Rhodes Town we drive 32 miles (50km) South East of the Island to Lindos - On the way you visit the Anthony Quinn Bay - Scenic
IMPORTANT NOTE: On very busy days, Anthony Quinn Bay may become extremely crowded, making it difficult or even impossible for vehicles to access or exit the area due to the high number of parked cars. To avoid losing valuable tour time, we may replace the visit to Anthony Quinn Bay with a brief photo stop (on the way back) at Kallithea Viewpoint instead (please note: we will not enter Kallithea Springs). This adjustment allows us to maintain the overall quality and schedule of the tour while still offering a beautiful scenic stop.

5
Stop 5

Before Lindos we stop at a vantage point for a panoramic picture from a distance of Lindos Beach. Wonderful white sand, flat calm seas and great beach side.
