Detailed itinerary

1

One of the largest legal graffiti spots in Europe and since 2010 the annual venue of the world's largest graffiti festival: ‘Step in the Arena’. This is a three-day festival with artists from all over the world who are brought to Eindhoven to make the most beautiful works here.

2

This artwork was made by Aryz and was also his own idea. He has created works all over the world. While he's uncomfortable being complimented, Aryz has the recognition of the industry, public institutions and a large following on social media.

3

The mural is 30 meters wide and 3 meters high. To realise this mural, the artist got about 2 weeks time to this piece of art. It was not easy, because the last days before the end date it rained a lot. This mural was donated by shirt sponsor Umbro.

4

This painting was made by “1010”, born in Poland and living in Germany. He does not reveal his identity. (Only the person who
pays the bill knows his name).

5

A match factory was founded on this spot in 1870 by Messrs Mennen and Keunen. The original gatehouse can be admired at Bergstraat 26-30.

6

Where is that street art now? Within! Throughout this building from 1881 you can see beautiful surreal graffiti on the walls and ceiling, designed and made by studio Giftig.

7

Lighttown Madness was founded in 2007 to create a better atmosphere in the Philips Stadium. They are PSV's largest atmosphere group. To celebrate the 10th anniversary both sides
of the Elisabeth tunnel have been completely overhauled. One side fully focused on the 10th anniversary of Lighttown Madness, the other side based on all the major supporter groups of the Eindhoven club.

8

The most beautiful and largest works can be found in the small side street of the engine room. An enormous graffiti of Black Lifes matter can be seen on almost the entire size of the square.

9

Celsius is a temperature scale named after the Swedish astronomer Anders Celsius. This work is therefore about temperature, heat and cold.

10

The skeleton with woman is behind the cinema Vue, where as you can see more beautiful Street Art paintings have been made. This is a free work made by Studio Giftig.

11

This project was created by artist Erosie. When at the end of the last century Erosie was still busy making (illegal) graffiti, he sprayed a whole series of “artistic bicycles” on the walls of Eindhoven.

12

After the impressive Berenkuil you cycle through the center and admire, sometimes with your bike in hand, the many murals and graffiti works. You will pass through back streets and tunnels that you normally pass by. In the chic neighborhood “de Bergen” you can admire the newest Street art hotel in the city with graffiti and street art inside and outside. You must see this!

In the center there is a short break where you can enjoy a to-go snack and drink of your choice.

13

This is a very striking image with a chair incorporated in it. The work is made by artist Fish and he has been a professional artist since 2008

14

"Silly Walk" is a tribute to Monty Python, arguably the greatest comedy group of all time.

15

There is not one specific work to mention here that you should really see, but the Fuutlaan is very interesting for beginners and advanced artists

16

On this mural we see a portrait of George Stephenson (1787-1848) and his steam train. The first working and practically applicable steam train called The Rocket.

17

Op handen gedragen, literally translated: Carried on hands The meter-high graffiti works create the illusion that the Strijps Bultje is literally adored. "Those hands are all belonging to people from the neighborhood".
