The dynasty of the Merinids were the founder of Fez. Some of the dynasty members are buried on a small hill overviewing the Fez medina. Today, it is possible to visit these tombs and admire the view from there.
The Chouara tanneries is unique in Fez where the leather is colored in many vats with pigments. After being colored, the leather will be worked to become clothes, bags or shooes. It's a must to see in Fez!
