Detailed itinerary

1

Praia do Vale do Olival is the western end of the beach in the center of Armação de Pêra, with the two beaches separated by a rock formation.

2

Golden sand beach located in the Alporchinhos area next to the luxury resort Vila Vita Parc.

3

Tremoços beach occupies a small sheltered bay, in the eastern part of the Municipality of Lagoa. As it is not easily accessible, this beach is practically wild.

4

The first sea cave that we will visit

5

Hidden between high cliffs, Cova Redonda Beach was once considered one of the best in Europe. Although there are other beaches in the Algarve more deserving of this distinction, no one can disagree that this one is, in fact, quite pleasant. As it is little known, it is very quiet, being mostly frequented by guests from nearby hotels.

6

The beach is one of the most rustic along the coast and was used as a refuge for small fishing boats in the region.

7

When the neighboring and very popular Praia da Senhora da Rocha fills up, many people cross a 60 meter long tunnel to this beach. It is larger and quieter, and also offers views of the iconic hermitage at the top of the promontory that separates the two beaches. The views from here are even more impressive, especially when you climb to the top of the cliff.

8

Beach with transparent waters, an unmissable sight, but it is a small beach in Porches. It's worth knowing, as it becomes quite reserved.

9

Praia do Pontal is a wild beach in the municipality of Lagoa, parish of Porches.

10

The yellow submarine is a free-standing sandstone atlantic sea stack just off shore of lagoa, portugal

11

Praia da Morena is a wild beach in the municipality of Lagoa, parish of Porches. In front of the beach there is an islet with a very special shape, the Yellow Submarine.

12

Praia das Fontainhas has a small, shell-shaped sandy beach. It is located in a narrow cove. The waters are calm and clear.

13

A small tunnel leads to another sandy area where there is a natural monument – an arch in a cliff, created over thousands of years.

14

It is famous for its impressive arch in the water. Compared to nearby beaches such as Praia da Marinha, Benagil, and Carvoeiro, Praia da Albandeira is relatively unknown. However, Praia da Albandeira is one of the best-kept secrets that the Algarve has to offer.

15

Praia da Estaquinha has a small sandy area.
The crystal clear waters easily show bathers the various rocks immersed here.
In the eastern area there is a group of five caves. In the same area, already at a considerable distance, the cliff forms a natural arch.

16

Barranquinho Beach presents a rare typology, as the stretch of sand between the beach access and the sea is almost twice the length of the entire coastline.

17

Praia da Marinha is one of the most beautiful and emblematic in the Algarve with incredible views of the cliffs. You can find the famous heart formed by the cliffs.

18

Praia do Cão Raivoso is situated close to Praia da Mesquita and the Benagil Cave.

19

raia da Corredoura is a medium-sized beach located in a cove between Praia de Benagil (in the west) and Praia da Marinha (in the east).

20
Stop 20

Benagil caves are one of the most famous ocean caves in the world. Attracting millions of tourists every year, it's the main attraction in the Algarve

21

The most beautiful sea cave in Europe
