About this experience

Combine a beach break and a trekking holiday, plus multiple memorable safari experiences, into one amazing Tanzania tour.

This trip starts by giving you a taste of hiking on Kilimanjaro on a day trek. The Marangu Route of Kilimanjaro is the most popular route up the mountain. Whilst the full ascent of Kilimanjaro takes at least five days, in one day you can have a taster of the trail, trekking from Marangu village on the southeastern side of the mountain to the Mandara Huts – huts where trekkers going all the way up would sleep for the night. Your day trek is a steady and gentle climb up through rainforest, climbing from 1,970m to an altitude of 2,700m. The full trek takes around six or seven hours, there and back.

Once you’ve completed your hike, you’re going on safari. Your local drive and guide are wildlife-spotting experts and know exactly where to go to give you the best experiences. You’ll explore no fewer than five national parks:
