We go to Firostefani for 15 minutes to see the most beautiful view of the island as we can clearly see the volcano, the cliffside view and the famous Skaros mountain which is protectred by UNESCO for its natural volcanic shape.
Here we can admire Oia village from afar, the island across the volcano-Thirasia, Skaros mountain from the top and traditional, old caves where locals used to live.
Driving from Imerovigli we finally reach Oia, the most popular destination of the island where VIP guests from all around the globe choose to spend their vacations. It is probably the most advertised sunset view of the island with its unique colors and cliffside location. We also see the famous white churches with the blue domes. Finally, walking towards the castle we can see the unique old windmills and enjoy the sunset during the afternoon times. We can also enjoy our coffee or a cold beverage/drink, baklava and other traditional greek delicacies, the many souvenir shops and a walk around the small alleys of the village.
After that we return to the initial meeting point.
