Lempuyang Temple and Heaven Gate

Pura Luhur Lempuyang, on the slope of Mount Lempuyang, is one of Bali’s six “axial” temple(sadkahyangan), points of power relating to the cardinal directions. There is considerable variation among Balinese accounts of just which temples these are; and there are also mandalas of three, four, five and nine axial temples, but Pura Lempuyang figure in all of them.

The water palace at Tirtha Gangga, about 4 miles northwest of Amlapura, was built in 1948 by the last raja of Karangasem, A.A. Ngurah Ketut Karangasem, in a series of formal pools fed by a sacred spring. The eruption of Mount Agung in 1963, which buried much of the neighboring village of Subagan, badly damaged Tirtha Gangga. It has been gradually restored, and is open to the public and tourist. A small hamlet of tourist accommodation and eating places has grown up here, but the main attraction is the swimming, which is permitted in several designated pools: a large one open to anyone, and a smaller one closer to the spring, for which an additional admission fee is charged. The water is indescribably refreshing, a swimming pool of holy water.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is located on Jl. Tembuku, Dusun Penida Kelod, Tembuku, Bangli, Bali. The location of the Tukad Cepung Waterfall in the Central Bali region is indeed an area whose territory does not border with the sea. There are unique things where we can see the attraction of the Tukad Cepung waterfall is different from other waterfalls in Bali. This waterfall is located between the cliffs, or rather flanked by the existence of the cliffs that surround it. The location is a little to the middle, so if we go into it, then we will be like going into a cliff that will crush us. The view of the waterfall with a height of about 15 meters between the cliffs is very beautiful, the color of the waterfall looks very clear, and on the cliffs are overgrown with green moss and some plants.
