About this experience

Anacortes is strategically placed to offer the best whale viewing opportunities. There's no company that sees more whales than Island Adventures. As members of the Pacific Whale Watch Association, we have access to the best whale-sightings network in the world. If whales in the area, we know it. High-speed, low profile vessels often travel past whales without seeing them. Our elevated wheelhouses and upper decks allow us to find more whales, spot them sooner, and view them better than smaller boats.

Meeting point

There is no office, so you’re checking in directly at the boat! Please meet at the top of Dock A near the glass/metal structure on Seafarer’s Way.

Parking: As you turn onto Seafarer’s Way, you’ll see a blue sign that reads, “Car Parking Only.” Please park in the gravel lot.

Important notes

Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure. We recommend arriving to the harbor 30 minutes before your tour to find parking. Please calculate your drive time based on arriving a half hour prior to your tour as we push off the dock at our scheduled departure time.

We will begin boarding 20-30 minutes before departure. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. Guests not at the boarding location 10 minutes prior to departure are subject to losing their space with NO refund. All that is required to board is the last name on the reservation -- there is no need for any paperwork or confirmation email/number.
