About this experience

At Natura Eco Park, you and your family will receive a unique experience and environmental education, where beautiful tropical frogs, butterflies, birds, reptiles, and leaf cutter ants will be the stars of the show. Accompanied by a professional naturalist guide you will stroll the rainforest trails to observe over 50 different species of reptiles and amphibians. Frogs like the famous Red Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas)  and the tiny poison dart frogs such as the Lovely Poison frog (Phyllobates lugubris) whose bright colors advert predators are just a couple of the species waiting for you.

Natura Premium is a unique natural experience for children and adults, where in addition to learning about animals and their habitats, you will have an authentic experience with nature and a large variety of species that inhabit the rainforest.

Tours available daily from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with start times about every hour.   

Frog Garden: The largest in Costa Rica, with over 30 frog species. 

Butterfly Garden: The largest in Arenal - Costa Rica, with over 20 species. 

Snake Garden: Safe and specialized exhibition with around 15 species of snakes. 

Crocodile and Caiman Lake:With a spectacular view from the bridge above the crocodile lake (Crocodylus acutus), you can observe these amazing reptiles with their prehistoric look, which makes them among the most feared species by most. The caiman (Caiman crocodilus) look much like crocodiles only smaller.
