Cosmos museum in Zhytomyr is one of the best of its kind in the world. Korostyshiv granite quarry is both natural and artificial attraction. This quarry is known from 1850 and black labradorite was mined here in 1920s here for Lenin mausoleum in Moscow. Since 1990s the quarry is closed and filled with water that is very deep (up to 20 meters) and clean here. The walls of the quarry are very steep and covered with picturesque pines.
