The one-day Gorilla Trekking Adventure helps you to get closer to one of the Mountain Gorilla families within Volcanoes NP, home to the remaining endangered gorillas, which have stayed due to the effort of our Beloved Dian Fossey once the great primatologist, she was brutally murdered in her cabin at a remote camp in Rwanda in December 1985. It has been theorized that her murder was linked to her conservation efforts, probably by a poacher.
At 5:00 AM, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Musanze.
At 7:00 AM, You will check in at Volcanoes NP's headquarter for legal formalities and get a briefing before the track starts.
During the tracking, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with these endangered creatures while taking photos and/or videos. The tracking adventure will end with having your lunch before we take you to Gorilla Guardian Village for a cultural experience.
Later on, our driver guide will take you back to Kigali and drop you at your Hotel.
