The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays and all monuments remain closed on national holidays, such as Holi, Diwali, Christmas, Gandhi's Birthday (2 October), Independence Day (15 August) and Republic Day (26 January). Dates differ every year for Hindu holidays like Holi and Diwali, so please check yourself before booking)
