Enjoy landscape of the mountain in its maximum splendor. This tour, which is considered one of the most popular in the region , goes from Mendoza to the border with Chile.
During your journey you will find places of charm ; Potrerillos and Cacheuta, both possess a vital wealth and function for the province. Along the route we will make a stop in the ski centre Penitentes, to appreciate the snow in the winter season. Further on, we will find Puente del Inca, which is a rocky formation that represents a natural bridge surrounded by hot springs.
Nearby we will observe through a magnificient viewpoint, the Aconcagua Mountain, the highest peak in America. Finally, following the international route, we will find the customs complex “Los Horcones”, and later, already in the limits with Chile , we will finish our tour in Las Cuevas , a place with a european building style and where we will make a stop to enjoy a mendozinian lunch in a typical mountain restaurant.

After picking up all the travelers at the hotels, we will head to the first stop of this excursion in a journey that lasts approximately one hour.
Potrerillos will be the first stop, where you can get some fresh air, buy a snack and admire the lake, the Potrerillos Reservoir
Here we will find ourselves in front of a pre-Hispanic settlement of aboriginal Huarpes and also the southernmost point of the Inca empire.
We will visit Villas de Picheuta, Polvaredas and Punta de Vacas.
We will continue on our way to the Aconcagua Viewpoint without losing sight of the impressive Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge), a natural architectural work with hot springs.
Afterwards, we will visit Los Penitentes ski resort, where you will have free time to ride the chairlift and get incredible panoramic views of the area (entrance fee not included).
The next stop is a panoramic viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, located at 2750 meters (9022 feet) above sea level. From there, head to the Horcones Lagoon and the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Following the international route, you will reach your final destination, the village of Las Cuevas (a European-style village, located at 3200 meters or (10 500 feet) above sea level). Between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel there is a road that allows visitors to access the Christ the Redeemer monument, located at 4200 meters (13 780 feet) above sea level.
It's time to go back to Mendoza and get a good rest!
The bus will head back to the Panamerican Highway by the same route and will take you back to the hotel in Mendoza around 7:00 pm.
